Engineering a Custom Spinner Blade
A new customer contacted us because they were unable to find a manufacturer who offered the spinner blade they desired for their finished lure. They wanted a stock spinner blade made from thicker material with an extra hole in a precise location. We were able to accommodate their request by modifying our existing tooling and using thicker stock material. Our ability to engineer solutions saved the customer money because they didn’t need to purchase an entirely new die set or order expensive specialty material. The customer was extremely happy with the result and now offers a premium product unique to their business at a competitive yet profitable price point.
Designing a Precision Hook Hanger
A customer was bringing a hard-plastic body crankbait to market with another manufacturer. After completing the hard body design and finalizing the mold, they realized that the figure 8 hook hangers they planned to use did not fit properly, preventing a watertight seal. They came to us for a solution, and we designed and manufactured a precise hook hanger that fit perfectly into their mold, ensuring the plastic body was secure and watertight. Because of our manufacturing solution, they were able to use their existing mold without incurring costly modifications.

Setting the Standard for Fishing Component Parts Quality
For over 80 years, we have been committed to delivering parts that meet dimensional tolerances, strength requirements, are defect-free, and aesthetically appealing. All our products are made in-house, giving us complete quality control over our stamping, forming, turning, deburring, polishing, painting, and electroplating processes, as well as the creation and maintenance of production tooling. We are an ISO certified manufacturer and are happy to provide quality assurance reports and certifications. In 2025, our PPM defect rate was 0.8%, and our delivered-in-full rate was 99.88%.
